The quiet setting and handy location made this a comfortable place for a longer stay. Public transport is easy to reach, and there are plenty of shops nearby. I loved the view, the general atmosphere, and especially the well-designed shared areas and coworking space, which worked for relaxing as well as getting things done. Entry by technology was simple, smooth, and secure. I really enjoyed staying at LivingTown - Coliving & Serviced Apartments Zurich and am already looking forward to coming back to Zurich.
The room was nice, 9/10, and I had no complaints about it. There are community areas for hanging out with friends and a good laundry room, though I still wonder where the pool table from the welcome video was. Stores are nearby, but there wasn't any soap in the room. The location gets 8/10, about 15 minutes from Zurich centrum in a quiet little area with groceries and places to eat. Parking was 1/10: the closest legal option is the Legizipark garage next to the building, and I paid almost $55 USD for one night. Check-in gets 7/10. There’s no staff at night or on weekends, and the in-app key was confusing at first, though you can work it out quickly. Keep your phone charged or you won't get in. I'd send the friend-access link to someone else in your party so at least one of you can still open the room if a phone dies. I like the owner's idea of a big community apartment/hotel.
The workspace options made a strong impression on me: shared offices, private offices, and fully equipped podcast and green rooms. I stayed with family, but the professional setup makes me think I'd come back for business. LivingTown Zurich also had a sunroof where we could look at the Alps at the end of the day. Across four continents, this ranks among the most impressive places I've stayed. It was cleaner, larger, and better located than any traditional hotel I've visited, while still feeling comfortable for a family trip.
Livingtown Zurich was a clean, modern apartment with the equipment I needed, and it was good value for Zurich, where hotels are often expensive. Public transport and nearby shops were easy to get to. The digital check-in and keyless entry both worked smoothly. If a tech-forward lodging style suits you and you care more about clean, efficient accommodation than typical hotel service, this is a good option. I had a wonderful stay.
The people here were so caring and supportive, always willing to help when I needed it. The place was cozy and very clean, with supermarkets and public transport close by, which made it much easier to settle in. It was a wonderful start to my time in Switzerland, and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, welcoming stay.
