I wouldn't recommend staying here. The room didn't have its own shower, the whole hotel smelled of cigarettes and marijuana, and I was charged twice, which cost me extra money. For the service I got, the price was extremely high.

The hotel is in a lovely part of Bellevue, and it could have been a charming little place. Instead, the guest room was dirty and noisy, with bed bugs, a tiny bed, a broken TV, and a very small, dirty toilet. The breakfast tables were sticky and dirty too, so I wouldn't bother with breakfast. It felt very poorly managed. For what it costs, this was the poorest quality hotel with the fewest services I've ever stayed in. Avoid it if you can. Zurich's public transport is good and affordable, so you can stay elsewhere and still get downtown easily.

I had a booking through HRS, and had already received confirmation, but the hotel canceled it by email just an hour before I was due to arrive. It was 10 p.m., and I was left stranded in Zurich without a hotel. They said the card payment hadn't gone through. I was available and could have used another card or paid by debit card if they'd called me. You can't cancel someone's room an hour before arrival and just send an email. HRS was also responsible, since its site confirmed the booking without knowing whether the hotel had actually booked it. I attached a screenshot of the confirmation.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly, and the hotel is easy to reach from its central location. Still, it felt very expensive for what you get, as is common in Zurich. I wouldn't stay longer than two days.
