There's one toilet, which can mean a queue when the place is busy, though there are several shower rooms. The facility was clean and well managed, and the price seemed reasonable for Zurich. The kitchen has all the appliances needed to cook, and it's easy to make tea or coffee there.

A lovely view of Zurich from the shared seating area, which is beside a fully equipped kitchen. The hostel is clean and cosy, and the lady running it was very kind and considerate. Sheets, towels, tourist tax, and lockers came without extra fees.

The owner was yelling all the time, and the service could have been much better even for a “Budget” hostel. It's really far from the city centre, and it isn't that cheap for a budget place. You can find much better hostels with better service and locations at more reasonable prices.

Had a great time here. The place is clean, beautiful, and well organized, and transport was no problem. The lady, who I think may also be the owner, was so lovely. I honestly want to come back just to be around her))

I stayed for two weeks, and honestly, there were a lot of things that didn't seem right. It's a house turned into a hostel, so you're basically staying where the owners live, which feels odd. The four-person rooms barely have space for two, and there's no key or code to get in. Anyone could enter and steal something. There are lockers inside, but you may need to bring your own padlock. There are only two toilets for at least 20 people, so expect queues when it's urgent. Space is cramped, and one toilet is just a WC in a cubicle about 1.60m long, so there's almost no privacy. There's also just one small kitchen, so cooking means waiting if someone else is using it. Food security is a real concern: no cameras and only one fridge. My cheese and ham were stolen three times, so I wouldn't trust keeping fresh food there. Staff could be rude at times, and their English was limited enough that communication sometimes felt pointless. On the positive side, the woman cleans every day, and shoes aren't allowed indoors, which keeps the place clean. But twice they put an extra person in my room, making five of us in a very small space. Noise and lights weren't respected even when others were asleep, so getting proper rest was hard. I wouldn't recommend it. Prices are about the same as other hostels, and this is a small place shared by too many people. Maybe one or two nights could be okay, but a quiet, restful stay seems unlikely.
