I've stayed in hostels across a lot of countries and spent plenty of time in them. This one stood out for how clean and peaceful it was.

The common room had a lovely view and a pool table, and the owners helped guests get to know one another. Everything was clean and well organized, with a shared kitchen. Breakfast was the best I had at a hostel in Chile. Most of all, Kathi and Enrique were so kind to me. They kindly picked me up from the Terminal de Buses at 10 p.m., and when I said I was hungry, Kathi made me soup. Congratulations, Enrique and Kathi. I loved it.

I felt so warmly welcomed here. The place has a real joy to it, with people from different countries mixing, and kindness at the heart of everything. If you want to know what hospitality feels like, stay with Enrique and Katie. Thank you for making me feel so welcome!

We didn't end up staying the night, so I can't say anything about the rooms or beds. Still, the owner was incredibly friendly even though we weren't staying guests. He called a taxi for us and offered tea and coffee. Looking back, we wish we'd stayed overnight.

It was cozy and comfortable, and I felt right at home. Great hostel. I hope I can come back soon.
