The lift queue was always long, and the small elevators, only one or two for the block, fit just two or three adults. Chung King Mansions has up to 15 floors. The room itself was tiny, dirty, and far too expensive for what it was. At night, they told me there was a problem with my credit card and demanded cash instead. The amount was more than my booking cost, and since I’d arrived late, I felt I had no choice. They couldn’t give me a receipt when I asked. I felt scammed. Don’t trust the room photos or reviews on booking websites. You’d be better off booking outside Tsim Sha Shui, since the hotels here are often too small or not worth the money.

It was a surreal place. I know the price is quite cheap, but the room was far too small and very humid. The WC took up so much room that taking a normal shower was impossible. Staying here felt like reliving the worst day I spent in army camp.

For a hostel, it costs far too much. I’d choose even the worst hotel over this place. The room was dirty, especially under the bed, and the washroom was tiny, with an old, rusty water heater.

It’s a shame for Hong Kong... disgrace, what a load of crap! You can find better and cheaper places in the same building. This place is dirty, microscopic, and the staff are useless. Sometimes the elevator takes 10 minutes.

The smell in my room was awful. I really regret booking this hostel, so don't make the same choice.
