10/10
It may not feel as luxurious as a hotel, but the simple, flexible setup gives you more freedom. With tourism in Hong Kong having been in a downturn since 2013, Panda’s prices dropped dramatically, making it a good balance of convenience and cost.

There wasn’t a reception counter open around the clock. I spent over an hour trying to find it, then was left with my room key and a note. Also, the hotel room and check-in counter may be in different buildings.

The smell in the room reminded me of my grandma because it was that old. Seeing the room ruined all my good memories of Hong Kong. I drank beer every night because I couldn’t sleep without it.

The place is cute and in an interesting location. The rooms are actually quite spacious, though the elevators are tiny, so don’t bring too much stuff.

It isn’t attractive or luxurious, but the prices are excellent and it’s very conveniently located near Tst Station.
