We chose it because it looked cheap and the room photos seemed good, but after arriving at 9 in the evening tired from our flight, we found our reserved room looked nothing like the pictures. The Chinese receptionist was very rude and unprofessional, with no basic customer service. The room was tiny, had no toiletries or soap, and there was no wi-fi, though those were listed as included. The bedding was used and very dirty. We were deeply disappointed. I won't stay here again or recommend it to friends going to HK.

The room had a disgusting, hard-to-describe smell, the facilities were poor, and the air-conditioning didn't work. They offered an upgrade for an extra fee, but even the “upgraded room” was disappointing. The booking site photos are FAKE. Worst hostel ever, it should be rated NO STAR!

Please don't book this hostel. It was very dirty, the building had lots of creepy people, and it felt scary and unsafe. The receptionist was rude and verbally abused my mother and my husband, who uses a wheelchair. We asked for a refund because the hostel wasn't wheelchair accessible as the website described, but the receptionist just shooed us away and verbally assaulted us.

The location is convenient, but the area felt unsafe to me, with people literally standing outside trying to scam you. The amenities weren't good, and the rooms cost far more than they were worth. I can see why the place is rated so poorly, though I found the young guy at reception kind and accommodating. I think people are talking about the older man when they complain about the receptionist. Generally, a disappointing stay, and I should have read the reviews first.
