The buffet breakfast was five-star, and the staff and facilities were beautiful. A lovely hotel and the place to stay in Barranquilla!

The neighborhood is interesting for its historical mansions and houses, and there's a practical restaurant in the lobby. The pool is at the back, though it's small, and the rooms feel tight. The facilities are all right, but the aging building, which has some historical value, could really use a renovation. I'd rate it 3.5.

The people were very friendly and the food was really good. Still, our room had roaches, no hangers in the closet, and an outside window that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages.

The staff were good and friendly, but I wouldn't return. The room wasn't clean, the beds were hard and the covers short, and the toilet top was broken. We asked to change rooms; the second one was a little better, but not by much.

I stopped by to meet friends who were staying there. The staff were welcoming, and the facilities were modest but clean, in a convenient location. My friends weren't overwhelmed by the accommodations, though they felt the price was justifiable.
