Hotel Casa Huesped Kiwi

Room was in good condition, and the staff were kind. Breakfast was delicious, the price was cheap, and it's about 10min from the airport. There was some noise from cars on the road and planes, and no complimentary water in the room. I'd stay again if I get the chance.

It's close to the airport, and the room was clean and comfortable. The wifi worked well on my tablet when I needed to contact my insurance. After I left my phone in the cab, they went out of their way to help me get it back.

Raul and his wife were friendly and helpful, and took good care of us. Raul even waited outside with us at 5:30am to make sure our Uber showed up. We had to leave too early for breakfast, though it looked delicious. The room was small, spotless, and cozy. There was some road noise, as we found in other parts of Colombia too, so light sleepers might want earplugs. Casa huesped kiwi is convenient for El Dorado airport, around 15 minutes by car or 45 minutes on foot. That might sound far, but by Bogota standards it's close, since most places can take about an hour to reach depending on traffic. I'd recommend staying here.

We couldn't find the hotel, so we canceled the reservation and went to a nicer one near the airport. We took an Uber there, but both GPS systems sent us to an area that didn't feel safe or look like a place with a hotel. The driver drove around, asked people for directions, and called the hotel to confirm the address, but we still couldn't find it or see a building that looked like a hotel. The driver said it wasn't one of the safer areas of Bogota. From the reviews and descriptions, I'd expected something different. Even if we'd found it, I wouldn't have wanted to stay there because of the location.
