8/10
It’s comfortable and friendly, and that no-frills feel may be part of its charm. There’s secured parking if you’re driving, plus a basic supermarket, the bus terminal, and a couple of small restaurants nearby. I was surprised to find a restaurant at the hotel, along with karaoke and some exercise equipment. The rooms can feel a little dated, but the service is excellent.

Booking showed 20k, but I hadn’t booked. Since it was cheap, I went straight there, only to be told at reception that the minimum was 60k. After five minutes of negotiating, we settled on 35k. It was a good place to sleep, but the people weren’t friendly.

We only needed a few hours of sleep after arriving at midnight, before our 6 am bus. A whole can of air freshener had been sprayed in the room, so we couldn’t go in until it aired out. We fell asleep quickly, but at 5 am a terrible raw sewage smell filled the room, and both my boyfriend and I felt very ill. They also charged us for an extra person even though our reservation clearly said two. Absolutely brutal.

Watch out. The staff were dishonest and lazy, the rooms were tiny, fixtures were broken, and there was no hot water.

I had a good experience. During the pandemic, they followed all the biosecurity rules.
