As the name suggests, it’s the real thing. The family who owns it is very kind. I’d definitely recommend the place.

When we got there, the rooms, bathrooms, and other areas had an unpleasant smell, and cleanliness needs a lot of work. The service was poor too. The woman helping us didn’t know about our Booking.com reservation, even though we had booked about 15 days earlier. She did eventually get us a room, but they need to pay closer attention.

The service was really bad, and I don’t recommend this place. I made a reservation a few days ahead and tried to confirm it through both the website and their WhatsApp. They barely replied, so I had to keep calling. They were online on WhatsApp but wouldn’t give me an answer, and Booking didn’t help either. When we arrived at the hostel, we waited 30 minutes for the receptionist. We called the number listed for the hostel and were told she was about to bring the keys. The worst part was that she was inside the hostel the whole time. After we called again to say we’d been waiting for 30 minutes, she came out with a completely unhelpful attitude and didn’t seem to care that we’d been standing there. That night, the children who were there, the receptionist’s kids, made a lot of noise until quite late. I understand it isn’t the children’s fault, but there needs to be more supervision and better service. One young man was the only person who treated us well. The rooms and bathroom also need to be cleaner.

The beds are new and comfortable, and there are two brand-new bathrooms. You also get a microwave, blender, and refrigerator. It’s a beautiful hostel that still feels new, though it could use a little more color. The service is great, and the value for money is incredible.
