I’d definitely recommend this hostel, 10 out of 10. It has a relaxed feel, stays clean, and the girls who run it are the best. They know the area well and are happy to suggest things to do. The location is perfect, and the internet works great.

It was a little quiet while we were there, though that may just have been the season. The pool is decent, the views are nice, and the location is good. We’d recommend it. The staff were warm and friendly. We arrived in San Gil at midnight and accidentally went to the Green Door boutique Hostel. Don’t make that mistake. They kindly let us stay there for the night, then moved us to the Green Door hostel later. Same owner. Andrea was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed.

We got a room on a busy weekend and were welcomed so warmly. They were very accommodating about our later than usual check-in, and had clean sheets and towels ready. The room had a double and a single bed for the two of us, and the price was right. The shared bathroom was clean too. It’s within walking distance of downtown, with lots of restaurants and stores nearby. I’d come back.
