Hotel Arenal Springs Resort & Spa

We planned my husband's 40th birthday here, and the team made the trip so special. Months beforehand, Guest Services, Allan, and Marianella answered all my questions promptly and thoroughly. They were attentive to what I wanted, flexible, knowledgeable, and really kind. By the time we arrived, it felt like we'd been friends forever. Allan, Marianela, and the team took such good care of us throughout. The little touches made the celebration top notch: a welcome drink, a beautiful party space with decorations, a personalized birthday slideshow, custom breakfast for lunch, cute bed decorations for the birthday folks, lots of flexibility, and great recommendations. The resort is beautiful and relaxing, and the spa with Carmen & Stephanie was amazing. It was the perfect place to celebrate with friends and family. The staff are what made this hotel a 10/10 for us. Rudy, Greyvin, the woman hosting at the restaurant, the man arranging excursion reservations, and everyone else went above and beyond to keep us comfortable and help us practice Spanish. They were all very kind. We loved the food at the restaurants and the swim-up bar in the hot springs. The team also helped coordinate all our excursions, including transportation to and from the hotel. We'd definitely recommend it.

The hot springs were amazing, and because they're only available to resort guests, the experience felt much more relaxing and peaceful. The property is beautiful, with stunning volcano views from the room, and the rooms themselves are lovely. Staff were phenomenal. The location is perfect for a relaxed, private feel outside town while still being close to activities. We used the same-day laundry service, which was reasonably priced and quick. My husband and I absolutely loved our stay and would love to come back.

We stayed one night to pamper ourselves near the end of our trip, after spending most of it in the rainforest on the Caribbean side. It was a welcome change of pace. The hot springs pool was awesome, and the rooms were great. The burrito I got at the pool bar wasn't great, though that may just be my taste. I'd definitely stay again.
