Hotel D’Angelo gave me a peaceful break in the middle of lush tropical nature. The wildlife sounds around the property made it feel calm, and I loved the jungle views and outdoor seating for enjoying the fresh air. The spacious, comfortable rooms are thoughtfully decorated with natural materials that fit the surroundings. The staff were outstanding from the moment we arrived, always friendly, accommodating, and keen to share tips about local places and activities. They clearly care about guests’ comfort. If you want a relaxing retreat in a beautiful natural setting with wonderful hospitality, I highly recommend it. It’s a lovely choice for anyone looking for both relaxation and adventure, and a real Costa Rican experience.

A beautiful hotel set in the jungle, with amazing staff. DINIA at reception was absolutely great. Breakfast was perfect, and everything was excellent.

The staff are a very friendly family who took great care of the hotel grounds. They helped us a lot and made us feel safe and welcome. The room was new, with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is quiet and away from the street, so you get a great jungle experience. One of the best hotels we stayed at in Costa Rica, and I can highly recommend it.

Hotel D’Angelo feels like great value for a local hotel set right in the jungle. You can spot sloths, monkeys, and more from the large porch by your room. I’d happily come back. Angelo and Ashley are close by, attentive to the details, and happy to show you around. Angelo also recommended Colores in Manzanillo, 2km away, a cute town by the entrance to an easy walking National Park. The restaurant was fantastic. I had pasta with mushrooms and chicken (pollo), with a sauce as good as any I’ve had in 5 Star restaurants. Angelo and his wife are highly professional at hospitality, running the place, and organization. The hotel is the equivalent of a Marriott Courtyard, seriously, and I’ve been a Marriott Rewards member for over 40 years. The room was clean, modern, and well equipped, with shampoo, conditioner, soap, dish soap, cleaning supplies, Tp, and more. It also had great air conditioning and FAST Wi-FI. The bed, pillows, and linens were super clean and comfortable. They provided plenty of towels and dishes, along with local coffee to start the first day.
