Even though my booking and late check-in had both been confirmed, when I arrived around 10 pm they said I had no reservation and blamed a booking error. They told me to contact them so they could find somewhere for me to stay. The same thing happened to another guest. Be extremely careful with this accommodation.
I've stayed here a couple of times. It's a walking hotel with no car parking, on the boulevard at the diagonal from the park behind the National Theater. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, and there's hot water. Breakfast is included, and the staff are very attentive and willing to address any concerns. Towels are folded into swans on the beds, and the dining room tables have tablecloths. Balcony rooms are available if you smoke or want a view of the boulevard.
The front desk was friendly, and the location is good. The room is aged, but that's fine for a short stay. Having no Internet for two days was very inconvenient.
The hotel is in a great spot in Central Market, with a beautiful festi:e scene all around and awesome street food nearby. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious. The staff and the breakfast staff are great too. The TV is Spanish only, with no streaming services or option to stream from your phone. I highly recommend the hotel.
It's right next to the national theater in a bustling neighborhood and has all the necessities, including AC. The hot water was a bit unreliable at times, though that wasn't a big deal in the warm weather. They can connect you with tour companies, which is convenient, but there aren't any discounts. Satisfactory!
