Residence Inn San Jose Escazu

My wife and I stayed this past week, and the whole team made sure we were well looked after. Tiffany Castro deserves special thanks for her attention to detail and for making our stay pleasant. From the front desk to breakfast, the restaurant, and the bar, everyone showed five-star customer care. We look forward to coming back.

The clean, spacious rooms and convenient location were lovely, but what I'll remember most is how the team responded when I had a medical emergency. They acted quickly and professionally, and their genuine compassion turned a frightening situation into one where I felt fully supported and cared for. It's rare to find staff so well trained and dedicated to guests' well-being. Thank you to everyone at the Residence Inn San Jose Escazu for being there when I needed it. Special thanks to Nicole and Dayana. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough, both for the property and the people who work there.

We stopped for a quick drink at the hotel's bar and restaurant, but left very disappointed. We hadn't seen a menu, so we asked for red wine. The bartender mentioned merlot or cabernet, and when I asked the price, she said around 7000 colones a glass. She then showed us a Mexican wine, and I asked if it was in the same price range. She said, more or less, so we ordered it. When the bill came, that wine was 12000 colones, almost double. We thought it was a misunderstanding, but it wasn't. A glass of red wine cost $24 usd. We paid and left.

I want to recognize Ms. Tiffany at the Front Desk for her warmth, professionalism, and readiness to help, and Ms. Dayana for her excellent service that made everything smooth and pleasant. I also want to thank the General Manager of the Residence Inn by Marriott Escazú, San José. The professionalism, efficiency, and genuine hospitality throughout my stay reflected excellent leadership and strong operational standards.
