The restaurant was clean and relaxed, and the staff were friendly. My steak came out tender and medium rare, just as I asked. My wife has a small appetite, but the chicken tasted so good she finished it and most of the vegetables. The food was better than our hotel’s meal and cost half as much. Easy to recommend.

We still remember the excellent food and lovely service from our dinner here about three years ago. The owners were incredibly friendly and took time to point us toward some of their best vegetarian dishes. Everything we tried was delicious and cooked just right. It left a lasting impression and became one of the memorable restaurants from our trip to Costa Rica. We’d definitely return if we visit Costa Rica again.

We could walk here from where we were staying, which was handy. The restaurant got busier while we were there, though it was empty when we arrived. Our server showed us to a nice table, and everyone treated our children kindly. The allergies at our table were no problem. The food was delicious, with the traditional beef meal and fried civeche favorites for everyone. One of the best meals we had in Monteverde.

We had Arroz con Pollo and Quesadilla con Pollo for lunch, both delicious, and there was enough left to take home for supper. It’s a very good restaurant with generous portions, right in the heart of Cerro Plano.
