We loved our stay. The host was nice, the view was great, and it’s a perfect spot, close enough to walk from. Shuttles could all come pick us up there too.

Carlos was such a thoughtful host, from leaving us lovely bagels when we arrived to checking on me after I’d been unwell. He was friendly and happy to do whatever he could to make us feel welcome. The apartment had everything we needed in the kitchen, nice toiletries and towels, and a really comfortable bed. This was the nicest place we stayed during our Costa Rica trip. Would definitely recommend.

Carlos was so friendly and helpful, always doing what he could to make guests' stay enjoyable. The apartment was bright and modern, with a well equipped kitchenette, a spacious bathroom and lovely shower, and a big comfortable bed. Huge windows look out over town toward the ocean and open onto a small terrace where you can relax. It’s under a ten minute walk into town, though down a fairly steep hill, with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, and tour sellers there. Fantastic stay at Black and White Apartments, and I’d happily stay again if we returned to Monteverde.
