Peacocks wander around the apartments, and the hotel is in one of the best locations I’ve ever seen. The food was good, although the buffet dinner on our first night wasn’t enough for our group of 25. The people are nice, but it wasn’t easy to ask for things, as I don’t think everyone spoke English very well. Still, it’s a very nice place to stay! 2025 November

It all felt pretty average and a bit run down. The service was aloof and not very good. Dinner was quite bad: all the chicken we got was still raw and mostly had no flavor. If you’re traveling with children, at least there’s a pool. Without kids, I’d go somewhere else.

The room feels a little rustic, but there’s a warm shower and the food is nice. The views are perfect, and the staff are really nice and helpful. A nice hotel, recommended.

The location is very peaceful, with a nice pool and good food. The scenery is stunning after the rains, though not in the dry season, so go during or just after the rainy season and you’ll be amazed. Take the route over the island through the mountains to get there.

The views are great, and it’s a good base for hiking, but the hotel really needs renovation. The beds are horrible. This place could be much better.
