Hotel Château Cihelny

The room was comfortable and the food was delicious. Staff were friendly, multilingual, and professional. I also enjoyed the beautiful nature and views around the hotel, as well as relaxing in the spa. The internet worked fine for the online teaching and meetings I needed to do. I loved my stay.

Breakfast was good, and the spa looked nice and was clean, though sauna hours were limited to 16 till 20h. We stayed two nights in the smaller building beside the main one, and came away with mixed feelings. Our room felt more like a 2/ 3 star hotel than a 4 star one: the beds were mediocre and very short, the shower was uncomfortable, and thin floors made the rooms noisy. Staff were friendly, though a little clumsy and awkward. We missed having a pleasant place to relax outside. The terrace got very little sunshine, so we felt we had to leave the hotel to get a relaxing moment outdoors. It wasn't a bad hotel, but for us it only makes sense at a discounted price compared with those reported in the room, and if you don't expect too much luxury. We didn't sleep in the main building, so we can't say what the rooms there are like.

There's real peace here, just what our nerves needed. I was on a business trip and they let me check in early so I could prepare for a meeting in the city, which I appreciated very much. The staff and service felt Russian but Slavic in their warmth, attentive and friendly, with an international mix of guests. It's a great golf concept behind Carlsbad, just 6 minutes from the car park to the colonnade. If you like sport and fresh air, you can walk to the colonnade during the day, then jog in the surrounding forests in the morning or evening, play golf, or swim and enjoy the sauna at the resort. Riverside, Cihelny, and the Royal Golf Art Hotel together are a great investment. I'm going back with my family. Thank you 🙌🌹

The main hotel building is awesome, with a cozy room that was well equipped and decorated. There's also a house opposite the hotel with chipper rooms. Michail at reception was very professional. The SPA zone is amazing, new, and very comfortable. A nice property for a short getaway.
