Spa Hotel Schlosspark

The location and views were lovely, the beds and bathrooms were clean, and there was plenty of storage. The Deluxe room was also really big. But for this amount of money, it felt overpriced compared with other hotels in other cities. The hotel seemed neglected, with little attention to detail. Our Deluxe room carpets had lots of faded stains, and the room didn't feel deluxe. The Comfort room looked much better, with prettier furniture and a bigger bathroom. The ugly carpets were in the hallways too. There were a few ants in our room, and spiders stayed in the hallway corners throughout our visit, which gave the impression that it wasn't cleaned properly. The so-called fitness room was just one tiny room with three machines. The pool was small and cold. At breakfast, oatmeal was served every day in the same double food cover as salty items like vegetables and sausages.

The view is wonderful from this spot just above the main city center. We had very good breakfast and dinner included in the room rate. Eating on the terrace at sunset was a fantastic scene.

We needed only a good day in Karlovy Vary, and this place had everything for it: a beautiful, spacious room, great breakfast, and an excellent location. Steps from the city center and Colonnades made it the best option for us. My husband, friends, and I stayed at Spa Hotel Schlosspark last September for one night. It was a great choice, and the staff gave us great service. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was included, and the buffet was great with plenty of variety. The room was comfortable and nice, if a little dated, and it met all our needs. Coffee and tea in the room cost extra. Check-in was easy, though they do require an ID or passport, preferably a passport. The hotel sits on a steep slope, and parking is limited.
