Saint Petersburg

We had a very good stay at Hotel Saint Petersburg. The view from our room was great, and the hotel is close to Karlovy Vary boulevard and the center. The staff were kind and the rooms clean, though a little outdated but okay. Friday’s breakfast was a bit stale, and the eggs and pancakes didn’t seem very fresh, though there were only a few guests. Saturday’s breakfast was much more extensive, with more kinds of eggs and other options, so that was much better.

We found it very good value for money. The woman at reception was really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was tasty, with new dishes each morning during our five-day stay. The rooms were very clean, and the internet was fast and strong. It’s a cozy little hotel right in the city center. Paid parking right outside costs 15 euros a night, but spaces are limited, so book in advance. Otherwise, there’s public parking a five-minute walk away for 9 euros per 24 hours.

A nice hotel on the Karlovy Vary corniche with comfortable rooms and nice people. The amenities are very limited, though, and there’s no tea maker.

The room and breakfast were good, and the hotel is right in the middle of Karlovy Vary. Parking in front is a fair price and handy if you arrive by car, but reserve ahead. The breakfast area is the one thing that could be better: sometimes you have to wait around 10 minutes for a table to free up. We were on vacation, so waiting a few minutes one morning didn’t bother us much. We stayed two nights.
