Courtyard by Marriott Prague City

We stayed at five Courtyard hotels while vacationing through five European cities with my wife, and this one was the best. The breakfast waitresses were attentive and professional, and housekeeping kept the room clean and replenished everything each day. At check-in, the friendly front desk person explained the amenities and services, then gave us a list of nearby restaurants and things to do in Prague. We had a relaxing, really enjoyable stay. The breakfast was perfect, with fresh food, plenty of choices, and healthy suggestions. Staff were friendly and helpful too. A very nice business hotel, just right for a one or two night stay.

We were a large group, and the staff helped us with real expertise and kindness. The room service was great, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was very clean. Breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented, with friendly, capable wait staff. It's a wonderful hotel in a great city location.

The TV in the replacement room didn't work, and when I reported it, the same staff member responded, “Really?” as if I were causing trouble. That was completely unprofessional. This was the worst Marriott stay I've had, all because of the customer service. My room was blowing very cold air while the hallway was warm. The front desk wouldn't move me and sent someone up instead. He wrongly assured me the heat would work in 20 minutes, but it never did. When I asked again, the front desk agent was dismissive and rude, suggesting space heaters. He only agreed to change my room after I said I was a Marriott Gold member and insisted, and he clearly had an attitude about it. I expect much better from a Marriott property.
