The rooms were spacious, warm, and nice, and the staff were lovely and helpful. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of Old Town without being noisy. Google Maps points to an Italian Restaurant, but the entrance is a few doors to its left, marked with the Golden Deer logo. There’s a Thai restaurant on the other side of the building.

The staff were amazingly friendly, personable, and helpful. They let us check in early, then kept our bags at reception on checkout day so we could keep exploring without carrying them. We skipped breakfast since it’s not really our thing, but came back for lunch, and the quiche was amazing.

We had some problems at first and ended up changing rooms three times, but the staff were incredible. It’s a beautiful 300-year-old building with its own character, and the location was incredible. I’d gladly stay again.

At least you can walk to all the tourist spots from here. The rest was a mess. The room was hot and noisy with the windows open, and the photos didn't match what we got. The listing mentioned street parking, but that wasn't remotely the case, and GPS couldn't find the hotel. Check-in staff were rude. The polite woman working in the evening saved us by explaining where to find parking. Wouldn't recommend it.

I had to haul my bags up to the second floor myself, with nobody offering help. There was no warm water for a shower, and I waited half an hour for the receptionist because he wasn't there and there was no one else to help. The place is very old and in terrible shape, with no luggage service, no reception cover, and no private elevator for luggage. It also closes at 10 pm. It doesn't deserve a single star. The room looked ready to collapse. 🤮🤮🤮🤮
