The bathroom drain was blocked, and it took three requests before someone came to deal with it. The shower water temperature also kept swinging between hot and cold in all the rooms my colleagues and I stayed in, so we had to keep watching out for getting burned or freezing. The soundproofing was awful too, with conversations from neighboring rooms clearly audible. My room was tiny compared with my colleagues' rooms, even though we paid the same price. When I raised it, I was told that was simply how it was in a heritage building and that nothing could be done. The receptionist I spoke to about the problems was very unpleasant and showed no real interest in providing decent service. I'm very disappointed with my stay, strongly advise against staying here, and won't return.

Breakfast was included and had loads of good choices, both sweet and savoury. The staff were great, the rooms were good, and the hotel is only a five minute walk from famous Wenceslas Square. It was too warm for us, though we know that's subjective, and we couldn't adjust the temperature to our liking. That was our only complaint, so we're giving it four stars and would stay again.

I was at the hotel for one night while attending a business meeting. The location was good, and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean but not well equipped. For a hotel of this star rating, I expected a bathrobe and slippers, and there wasn't even a small complimentary bottle of water. The minibar charged 95 kr for water, which I thought was exorbitant. The food tasted good, although breakfast didn't offer much choice.

The manager kept in touch and personally oversaw our trip arrangements from beginning to end, staying available and attentive to what we needed. Our company group had lots of guests, requests, and changes, yet everything was handled efficiently and with care. The rooms were spacious, tastefully furnished, and very clean. We also had a well-organized transfer service, plentiful lunches and breakfasts of excellent quality, and a central, convenient location. The meeting room was well organized and equipped with modern comforts. I highly recommend this property!
