I was really disappointed. I bought two spa packages for my birthday, for myself and a guest, but the services weren’t provided. We didn’t even stay the night and left before midnight. We checked in at 1530, and the spa and thermal pool couldn’t provide the services, even though the spa itself stayed open until 9pm. The pool isn’t part of this hotel, it’s a separate establishment. Buying the spa packages online means they’re included at checkout, but the establishments are independent and services aren’t guaranteed for the day you stay. It was a real bummer of a birthday.

You can get to the thermal baths straight from your room along a covered walkway, and the hotel is centrally located. This is my second visit, and I’ll definitely come back. The room is lovely, with a view of the greenery, the staff everywhere are incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious.

I recently stayed at Hotel Hofmark. The staff were friendly and the room was fine, but the food was terrible. My wild boar steak on the first evening was completely burnt. On the second night I ordered chicken, but some items on the menu weren’t available. The third evening, the pork steak was incredibly tough and the fried potatoes were very dark. There were also tomatoes with cheese on the plate, though that wasn’t listed on the menu. If you like cheese and can eat it, that’s fine, but everyone else has a problem.

Direct access to the thermal baths was fantastic. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and the hotel is a beautiful place to relax and recharge. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is new and very nice, but its à la carte choices were limited to a selection from the evening menu, with main courses costing around €25. During my 14-day stay, not one staff member asked how my spa treatment was going. About 95 percent of the guests were couples, and as a solo traveler I couldn’t connect with anyone. I chose the hotel for an open spa treatment and its bathrobe corridor, but unfortunately my room was outdated and the carpet was very worn.
