The river view and AMAZING breakfast were the cherry on top. I’d come back next time I’m in town, and would definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting beautiful Bamberg. I wasn’t sure about booking at first, but the warm welcome and amazing staff won me over. The rooms were clean, the bed super comfy, and the shower was great. I simply loved it!

Fantastic breakfast and a great river view. The place is very clean and simple, close to Bamberg old town, and works really well for cycling tourists.

The location is right on the waterfront, with a view over one of Bamberg’s most iconic scenes. Tandem hotel is a medium-sized building, and the stay feels like a modern take on a classic overnight place. Parking under the bridge right next to the hotel is only available for unloading. The rooms have a modern, minimalist style and cover the basic needs. Hopefully you’ll spend most of your time out exploring Bamberg on foot after parking your car near the wall of the monastery. I’d be glad to stay here again.

A comfortable hotel with a good breakfast, and a great base for the sights, restaurants, and beer kellars. The problem was how noisy it got at night, with traffic and people walking home loudly until 3am.
