A good choice if all you need is a basic place to sleep after a long day touring Berlin. The breakfast service was a pleasant surprise, and being right by the train line into the city centre is a big plus. The room was only somewhat clean, a few sockets were broken, and the bathroom smelled of piss.

The location was handy, just a minute from Charlottensburgs railwaystation, and the customer service was good. Breakfast was decent, though vegan choices were poor. We couldn't get into our room until three hours after arriving. The bathroom smelled like vinegar, we only had one key, and the locks were so difficult that opening a door took several tries.

One room had a strong cigarette smell, though luckily we were able to switch rooms. We had to book at least three nights even though we only needed two, and the rooms were expensive for the quality. A hairdryer was available only on request. Breakfast was quite poor, with no fruit choices and coffee so weak and transparent it was like tea. The place needs a good renovation: the corridor walls were dirty and the bed mattresses were poor.

The internet barely worked, and the rooms were unclean with a very strange smell. Check-in took nearly 45 minutes. The receptionist acted strangely, and staff didn't speak English. She also seemed unsure how to use the credit card machine. A disastrous, horror-movie kind of hotel.
