There isn’t much staff around apart from a cleaning person, but when I messaged the number they provide, I got a fast, helpful reply. The room was spacious, very clean, and looked just like the photo. It’s quiet, and the other guests are respectful. There’s a small coffee and tea bar downstairs. I’m staying here now and think it’s an excellent place. I’d absolutely recommend it to people traveling on a budget.

For one night on a work trip, the quick check-in and clean room with everything I needed were great. The little bear stuffed animals were a fun touch 🐻. The bed was a bit uncomfortable, though nothing major; I wouldn't choose it for a longer stay.

I stayed at Alex Hotel in the last week of December 2024 and had a great time. When I called during check-in, the staff member I spoke to was kind and helpful. I'd definitely recommend it.

We found the room small but clean, and it was just right for a single night. The self-service check-in and check-out meant we could arrive or leave whenever, and getting the key was straightforward. There are bars on both sides of the hotel and a park close by, with Alexanderplatz only a short walk away. Coming in by train? A bus runs straight from the main station to the hotel, so getting there was easy.
