Apartment Hotel Dahlem

The woman at the front was kind, but I'm not sure the place is worth the money, and it can be a struggle if you don't speak German. Our first room had no wifi because the owner seemed to have trouble with the tech or login, so she kindly moved us to another room where it worked. That room was on the first floor, with huge red lights shining right outside the window all night. There were no thick blinds, so it never got dark and I could barely sleep. Also, breakfast wasn't complimentary, despite what the listing said.

It was cold, really dirty, and there was hair everywhere. The bathroom was awful too. No shower curtain, so water ended up all over the place after a shower. Spiders everywhere as well.

Iryna was a great person and really helpful. The apartment is in a good spot, close to all public transport. It needs an upgrade, but it covers the basic needs if you're a traveler spending the day out in Berlin.

I chose the hotel for its location while I was in Berlin for work, but I won't come back. It's old and neglected, and needs a full renovation. The doors, blinds, stairs and lights are broken; there's no elevator or bell service, and the shower has no curtain or screen. The wifi signal doesn't reach the third floor, as they don't pay enough for it. Even the plants outside are uncared for. The woman at reception tries to do a good job, but the older man is quite unpleasant. He talks to customers in a very derogatory tone while chewing gum with his mouth open. The hotel isn't worth the price.
