CityLight Familien Hotel is very well located, near Gesundbrunnen train station, and the room was clean. But I was given a much smaller room than the one I booked, with only one bunk bed instead of two, despite specifically reserving two because of my daughters' needs. It caused serious inconvenience, and staff offered no proper fix, only drink vouchers, which wasn't acceptable. For a room meant for four, the setup was poor: two glasses, one 330 ml bottle of water in the minibar, no shampoo or shower gel, and no electric kettle. Those details may seem minor, but they made a real difference to comfort and satisfaction.

The service was warm and professional, and the hotel is in a great location. Breakfast had a good range, and the place is well set up for kids. The room, though, was poor, especially the bed and mattress. With no way to cool the room, we had to leave the windows open, and the noise made already awful sleep even worse.

The room was surprisingly spacious, and the staff were friendly. Gesundbrunnen station is about a five minute walk away, so getting around Berlin is easy. Fantastic hotel.

I found poo stains on my bed and a full, old condom floating in the toilet. The lack of hygiene was horrific, and I ended my stay early. The food was raw, practically still alive and fit to go back to the farm. They refused to give me another room, which made the whole stay hell.
