The location in Steglitz was good, with shops, affordable parking, and the subway all an easy walk away. There's a dog-friendly area, though we wouldn't walk through it in the evening. Our stay was planned for four people and one dog, but we actually arrived without the dog. We got in very late on the first day and were out all of the second, so only looked closely at the apartment that evening. There were questionable stains on the chairs and lots of dust in the corners, vents, and along the baseboards. The fridge didn't work properly because the freezer compartment wouldn't close. Only one of the two stovetop burners worked, and it wasn't clear whether the pots were induction-compatible. The backrest on bed 1 didn't feel secure, and we worried it might break if leaned on. Bed 2 had a broken support leg on the slatted frame, some loose legs, and mold in the corners. The four of us felt the apartment was more suited to two people, and that many of the listing images had been generated from the AI-generated advertisement. We were very uncomfortable and contacted the booking website, since direct contact with the host didn't seem likely to help with problems like mold that can't be fixed quickly. The price didn't feel justified, and the hygiene issues were what made us cancel our vacation. The website was accommodating and helpful at first. Later, the host left us a very bad review and accused us of things that simply weren't true. We tried to clear it up, but the website wasn't as helpful then and sided with the host. One complaint was that our dog had destroyed the bedsheets. That's quite something, since we had planned to bring a dog but came without one. I really wonder how this imaginary dog managed to ruin the sheets. The host also said we left the apartment in a catastrophic state, with dirt and dog hair everywhere. The video I'm attaching shows how it looked when we left, and doesn't match those complaints. Others can especially get an idea of what the place looked like until recently.

There are lots of shops nearby, and public transport connections are excellent. The residential area is very quiet, yet the apartment is right in the heart of the city. It was clean and tidy, with furnishings that were perfectly adequate. There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large eat-in kitchen, plus a fridge, coffee maker, WiFi, and a TV in almost every room. Ideal for four people or two couples, and the price felt justified. We'd gladly return. Thank you!

We had a fantastic stay in this Berlin apartment. It was spacious, stylishly furnished, and spotless, and the location was great. Communication was very accommodating and straightforward, which helped make the stay as pleasant as possible. We'll definitely come back and recommend this lovely apartment!
