The place was quiet and really clean. Check-in is modern and easy, with four-digit codes that are simpler than at other self-check-in hotels.

The hotel never repaired a leak during the four days I stayed after it started. Dirty water from bathroom waste pipes on the first or second floor dripped from the ceiling by the entrance, sometimes onto guests, and the smell was unbearable. Getting any help was just as frustrating. On the third day I was emailed that someone needed access to my room between 4 and 6 pm, but nobody came. The next day I got another message asking for access in the morning to inspect the leak, and again nobody showed up. Everything seemed fine at first, but this became an unacceptable situation and a complete waste of my time. Avoid this place and chain.

They offered no compensation, upgrade, or effort to preserve the original standard. An internal problem became a downgrade that was entirely passed on to me. This isn't about the leak itself, since those happen, but about avoiding responsibility and redefining standards when things go wrong. On the second day I found myself locked out of my assigned room. Only after contacting support did I learn it had been changed because of a water leak, with no advance notice. I then had to wait for a new access code and move all my belongings after I'd already settled in. The replacement was clearly smaller. limehome says the rooms are in the same category, but I measured about 17.5 m², below the stated 19 m² minimum. I documented and shared this, but it was dismissed. This wasn't a professional or guest-oriented operation.

I won't book with them again. My business partner had a stroke, so I asked to move a fully paid booking to later dates when they had recovered. I didn't request a refund. Expedia contacted Limehome five days before check-in to explain the emergency, but Limehome refused to change the dates. I find that highly unreasonable and disgusting. If they'd let me book those later dates, I would have made a lot more bookings with them. Instead, I'll stick with places like Bonvoy or Hilton, which honor emergency situations like this.
