I thought it was good value and would stay again, now that I know the area. The rooms are spacious enough and clean. They're on the ground floor, sure, but I wasn't burgled :) There are good places to eat in the neighborhood. I don't go to a guesthouse to sit in my room all day. The family-run staff are attentive and helpful, and make sure you get clean towels. I don't understand the negative reviews.
