Hotel Fürst Garden

A nice little hotel downtown, and really good value for money. It's conveniently close to public transport, the rooms are a good size and well equipped, and breakfast is good. The staff are very friendly and always keen to help. There's no elevator, though, and they seem to have trouble with the credit card machine quite often.

The staff deserve special thanks for the excellent service. The rooms and the hotel were excellent too, definitely worthy of 5 stars. I highly recommend it!

Breakfast was plentiful and served in a comfortable room. My room was pretty good, with a large bed and plenty of space for my clothes. It faced the street, but the area was very quiet and I slept well. The bathroom was split up, with the toilet and shower separate from each other and divided from the bedroom by floor-to-ceiling sliding doors. The toilet was fine. The shower was roomy, though getting in and out wasn't easy because there wasn't much space.

I booked the wrong date more than a month ahead and called the hotel the very next minute, before they could even see my booking. They still refused to cancel it. They just want the money. They could easily have cancelled without costing the hotel anything, but they chose to keep the payment. Such bad service.
