In my opinion, this was the worst hotel. The company rents out all the rooms. When there was an electrical problem in one room, the pipe suddenly broke. The receptionist accused us of cooking because he saw a plate in the sink after we’d ordered food. He said we had cooked and rinsed the food, even though the plate, with the leftovers, belonged to the hotel and had been provided in the room. He came to take pictures, and by the third day there was still no electricity. I don’t recommend this place. Scammers.

For the price and the location, this is a good place to stay. I had a double room on the second floor that was nice and quiet, and I think it had recently been refurbished. It’s a great little hotel with a great location and really friendly staff.

The room was clean and nice, and the terrace was lovely. Service was great, though reception is only open for a few hours a day.

The new owners have done a good job with the renovation. The rooms are nice, and the location is great: right in the middle of the Altstadt, but still quiet.
