David checked me in, and from that first interaction I felt welcome and sure I’d made the right choice. He’s new to the reception team, but already has a natural warmth and confidence with guests that you don’t often see so early in someone’s career. The rest of the staff were also consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, at reception and during breakfast. The room was immaculate and well maintained, and breakfast was outstanding, with great quality and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. I’ve worked as a hotel receptionist in my home country for many years, so I pay close attention to service. Hotel Schumacher goes beyond what you’d simply expect and delivers an excellent standard. Its location is ideal, just a few minutes on foot from Düsseldorf Central Station, yet in a quiet area with very little traffic. This was my second visit to Düsseldorf, but my first stay at Hotel Schumacher. Next time I’m in the city, I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else. I recommend it with complete confidence.

I’ve been staying here for the past five years, and it’s a very good place. The location is great, the hotel is clean, and the staff are friendly and always ready to help. The service is excellent, and breakfast is very rich. I recommend it to anyone visiting Düsseldorf.

We arrived late at night, but check-in still went smoothly, and the staff were really friendly. The room was clean and had everything we needed. I’d only add a small hand towel. Breakfast was good, with enough variety for vegetarians. It’s close to the main station and there are lots of good places to eat nearby. I really recommend it!

The breakfast had plenty of choices, so there was something for everyone, and the staff were kind and quick to help. Dragica was especially lovely and friendly, and her warm smile made our stay even nicer. We had a great time here.
