The price was very reasonable, and we’d definitely come back. The hostess was kind and friendly, and the room was clean, nicely furnished, and had a view of the Moselle. I personally loved the bathroom and found it very comfortable. Inside, old pictures of Cochem on the walls add a lovely touch. The outdoor terrace looked a little neglected, though, with cobwebs that made it feel somewhat abandoned.

We felt so comfortable here. The hosts were wonderful, and the atmosphere was lovely. The rating only goes up to five stars, though we would gladly give ten. We’d love to return. Until then, all the best to the hosts. The guesthouse is right on the Moselle, with a fantastic view of the vineyards. The 18th-century house has its own charm, and our room was clean, bright, and thoughtfully furnished. The bathroom was small but perfectly adequate for two, with towels, a bath mat, and a hairdryer. We arrived by motorcycle and could park safely in the courtyard. On the way home, the hostess gave us a little guardian angel figurine. Breakfast was a dream, better than what some hotels can offer. It was lovingly prepared, with tasty rolls, small croissants filled with vanilla, homemade jam and dessert, fruit and vegetables, and cold cuts and cheeses garnished with herbs and edible flowers from the hosts’ garden. There were boiled eggs, orange juice, and coffee or tea too. Scrambled or fried eggs were available if requested. We also found a bottle of water and a bottle of Ellenzer wine in our room.

The room was basic but quite all right. The accordion door to the bathroom didn’t shut properly, though. Breakfast was fantastic and looked beautiful. 😍

The welcome here felt so genuinely warm, and we had a lovely stay. You can tell the guesthouse is run with a lot of care and affection. :)
