The location near the central station meant the neighborhood wasn’t good, and the sound insulation was awful. When someone shut a door, it sounded like ours, and I woke several times during the night. My room was small, with a tiny bed and a really bad smell. It was clearly not clean, especially the disgusting carpet. There was no housekeeping. I can’t see how this is a three-star hotel. This was the worst hotel experience of my life, and I strongly suggest avoiding it.

The hotel is very close to Frankfurt train station, with tram lines and the subway nearby too.

The stay itself was mostly fine, but it turned into a total disaster. The flat-screen TV was tiny, and a cleaner left our door wide open all day. I’ve never seen so many junkies in my life. I later learned this is supposedly one of the most dangerous locations in all of Germany.

Breakfast and service were really good, and the hotel is very close to the main station, though the area feels a bit shady. One thing to watch: don’t put your hotel card against your mobile phone. The information on the card can get erased, and you may have to go back to reception each time to reactivate it.

The staff were cold, unfriendly, and rude to visitors. The room was dirty and the bed was awful. Every night I dreaded coming back; I’ve never stayed somewhere worse. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere, even if it costs an extra 50 dollars a night.
