The room and corridor both reeked of smoke, and the room was dirty, with stains everywhere and even a spider. The shower had no curtain, the toilet barely worked, and the elevator felt like it belonged in another era. The receptionist was rude, too. I can't see how this place passed inspection. The owner clearly doesn't look after it. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The staff were genuinely helpful and treated us well even though we were foreigners in Germany. The room was decent for what we paid, but bathroom hygiene could have been better. I'd have preferred disposable cups instead of glass ones that get reused.

The location was a real plus: it's in a quiet residential area, about two minutes on foot from a metro station and five minutes from the river. The party area is a bit farther, maybe a ten-minute walk. Breakfast is included and served buffet-style from 7 to 10 a.m., with coffee, cheese, muesli, eggs, bread, and a few extras. The room was okay for the price, though the bathroom could use improvement and the shower wasn't good.

The front desk man was lovely and very helpful, but I wouldn't stay here again. The pictures are definitely edited. The bathroom light stayed broken for two days because apparently it was the weekend, and there was no ventilation or proper shower. When you stepped out, you were about to land on either the toilet or sink. Most of the bed slats were missing and had been held together with tape.
