The rooms are small but cozy, tidy and clean, and the buffet breakfast for 15 euros was amazing. Staff were very kind and offered to help carry our suitcases upstairs. There’s no elevator, so that help was welcome.

The family running the place are super friendly, and the rooms, though small, work well. Breakfast is excellent, with omelets made to order and a good selection of cheeses, cured meats and jams. The location is extremely good for the price. I’m looking forward to coming back!

The hotel is tucked into an old part of Sachsenhausen, within a pleasant walk of the museums and the river. Traditional places to eat and drink are right next door. Even though it seems to sit in the middle of a party district, it felt very family friendly. It’s a small family-run place, so arrive during the stated reception hours or check that a late arrival is okay. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Star Wars or Lego fans will love the impressive collection of Star Wars Lego here. The room wasn’t large, but it was clean and everything worked. I could hear street noise at night and people walking in the corridors, though I still slept well. There aren’t many rooms, so there isn’t much foot traffic. There’s no lift, so it won’t suit wheelchair users. The corridors are dim, which may also make them difficult to navigate for someone with impaired vision.

The clean rooms, attentive service and hot breakfast were highlights of our stay at Hotel Hubler. It’s in a convenient location, and booking directly with the hotel gets you a better rate than using a third-party site. We loved our stay and highly recommend checking into Hotel Hubler!
