NAAM Hotel & Apartments Frankfurt

For the price, this was a pretty good hotel, and it was clean with the usual things you'd expect. It did get noisy at times, though, and the cleaners knocked at 11 even though checkout was at 12. When we asked about staying another night, they checked Booking.com and quoted almost twice what we'd paid the night before. They offered a small discount, but other sites were still cheaper, so there wasn't much reason to book directly.

We got a lot for what we paid, including free parking inside the hotel grounds. The room was a good size, the shower was warm, and the bed was comfortable. Staff were really helpful, and the airport was nearby. The place is showing its age a little, but that wasn't a major issue.

The bathroom towel had visible dirt on it, and the toilet seat was already up when we arrived. There were hairs around, and the place hadn't even been vacuumed. Is that really the standard here? Such a disappointment. I've stayed in cleaner hostels.

The TV didn't work at all, and there was blood on the bathroom vanity. When we raised it, the manager said the room was unfinished and still being renovated. We couldn't understand why it had been rented to us. We asked to move, but he said the room counted as used because my kids had sat on the beds. We even looked at another room he showed us and agreed to take it, until he noticed the kids had sat on those beds too. We contacted Expedia, who called the hotel, but the manager wouldn't pick up until I went to the desk and told him they were calling. He still wouldn't be reasonable. Then he called the police, who came out. The officer told me this was common at the Naam hotel and recommended another hotel and area. We left and stayed at stay city hotel by the airport, for the same price and much nicer, with restaurants nearby in a better area. The officer also told me to steer clear of Naam hotel.
