Trip Inn Budget Messe

The breakfast was good, and getting to Frankfurt Messe by subway was convenient. The exhibition grounds are also about a 15-20 minute walk away. But this is a budget hotel with little to offer, and it felt expensive: I paid over 200 euros for one night. The receptionist wasn’t very helpful, and the duvet cover wasn’t very clean. It was acceptable for just one night, though I’d suggest looking near a train station.

The room itself was clean, but there was a big silverfish in it, which was pretty gross. The sink also drained very slowly. I wasn’t expecting much, and communication with the receptionist was difficult, with little explanation. We only found out about the tourist tax at the last minute.

The rooms were clean and spacious, and the location worked well for us. We arrived with no expectations and were surprised by how underrated this hotel seems. The prices are great, and the staff were kind and attentive. Special thanks to the administrator, who did everything they could to make us comfortable. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it.

Be careful. The hotel said Booking hadn’t passed along my payment, so I had to pay the same amount again. I’m going to report this to the police, and I’d recommend staying elsewhere.
