The check-in line was long, and our family ended up split across different floors, even though we'd asked for rooms together one and a half month before departure. Management and staff seemed not to care. They may be full because the hotel is near the railway station, but guests still deserve better. Breakfast was terrible: little choice and not enough food, and you had to compete with other guests for eggs made from powder. Never again.

Housekeeping did a very good job, and our room was quiet and peaceful. The hotel itself is pretty average for the price, though parking is a real shortage, with only about 20 spaces for the whole place. We had to leave the car in a muddy alleyway when the lot was full.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed a nice glass of wine at the bar in the evening. For a proper meal, I'd suggest nearby restaurants rather than eating at the Hotel. Breakfast was okay and had what you need. It's a fairly new, clean Hotel, and the room had enough space to feel comfortable. Parking is limited, so arriving early may help you get a spot :). I've stayed here several times and will come back for a good night's rest.

Breakfast is worth having, with a reasonable selection, and I think it was included in the price. The hotel is modern, fresh, clean, and has a view of a little park. It's a basic but very nice Holiday Inn Express, about a 10min walk from the main station of Göttingen. I arrived around 7pm, and there was only one person at reception, so check-in took a bit longer during the busy period. All in all, a good stay and a nice alternative to the way-too-expensive hotels in Hannover during fair time.
