That pleasant atmosphere outside and the excellent breakfast were lovely, and the rooms were clean too. But what really made me happy was the staff's honesty. On our last day, my wife had left her wedding ring on the table when we checked out, and the pension staff found it and let us know. We had rented three rooms at the end of July 2024. I can proudly say they treated us very well, and I hope other travelers choose this place for their stay.

The room was spacious and clean, and the location was convenient, but I didn't feel the stay was worth what I paid. At over 100 Eur, it was the most expensive place I stayed along the Malerweg, without anything particularly special to show for it. The furnishings were very minimal, and breakfast was just the basics. My second-floor room faced east, and smoke from the neighboring house's chimney blew straight into the window. The curtains also let in the morning sun, and there was no balcony. I stayed one night while hiking.

Irene and her husband were lovely hosts at this guesthouse. There was a fridge stocked with beer, wine, and other drinks to enjoy in the beautiful garden. I just wish I'd had time to try the sauna.

The staff were so friendly, and made us feel at home right away in the cosy, beautiful place. Our room was clean and comfortable, and I really enjoyed my short stay. The breakfast buffet was good, although the selection was a little limited.

The garden was such a nice place to unwind, and it was handy to be able to buy cold drinks. We felt very welcome, and the hostess seemed to have thought of everything. We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Irene.
