Best Western Plus Hotel Böttcherhof

Breakfast had lots of choices, and the wellness area had a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. I also enjoyed the full body relax massage. We had an excellent room, and I’d come back.

The rooms and food were very good, but parking in the garage was extremely expensive. I spent three days at the hotel and was out exploring the city most of the time. At checkout, I was surprised to be asked for €51 for parking. I don’t find that acceptable, and I won’t book at this hotel again.

The rooms are quiet, well equipped and really nice. Dinner was very, very tasty, and the chef did an outstanding job.

We came for three nights over New Year and had a lovely time from check-in onward. Dinner on New Year's Eve was included, and all four courses were delicious. Our clean, nice room had a view of the fireworks, which made for the relaxing evening we’d hoped for. Breakfast had plenty of good options, and the wellness area was clean and relaxing. Music and scented water in the sauna would have been a nice extra, but we still enjoyed it. Getting into the city was straightforward by day, with a bus stop right outside and a ride of about 35 minutes. In the evening, public transport was less convenient and took nearly an hour. The hotel is in an industrial area. One disappointment came on our second night: I couldn’t use any sauna. The Finnish sauna was closed for maintenance, and both the bio sauna and steam room were switched off by 9 pm, even though the sauna area is listed as open until 10. Being able to use the sauna in the evening was one reason we chose this hotel.
