The staff were trying their best, and it's good enough if you just need somewhere to sleep for one night. Still, I wouldn't call it a hotel, more like a low-level hostel. Reception is basically a folding chair and desk in the stairwell. The building is old and not very clean, in a neighborhood that doesn't feel inviting. For the price and low quality, I wouldn't come back.

One of the best hotels in Hamburg. The place is clean and the staff are very polite.

We expected better for the price. It felt like a rip-off, and we'll never stay here again. The young man who greeted us was very nice, so the one star is for him. My daughter booked the accommodation, and at first they gave us a room without a bathroom, apparently with one down the hall. We refused it. The second room was clean, but the shower curtain was filthy and needed replacing. The bed's headboard was torn, the wallpaper was dirty, and there was no kettle as advertised or remote for the TV. We left the windows open, but the stairwell smelled musty and rotten. When we got back late that evening, a man was lying drunk in front of our door trying to sleep, blocking us from getting in. Passersby helped us get him to move.
