The TV was set to a language where I couldn't recognize even one letter. There were 20 people sharing one microwave, a smoking area right outside the room, and a shared toilet behind it. The beds were so worn down they looked like bathtubs. If you want a youth hostel in central Poland, this is apparently the place. I didn't feel safe or at home here as a German. It was creepy, and any construction site toilet would be better for a decent night's sleep.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and both the shared kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. Our room had a fridge, comfortable beds, and cozy furnishings, more than we'd expected. We'd definitely return, maybe for more than one night next time :)

The pictures make it look like a nice place, but it wasn't. The beds were the cheapest I've ever slept in, with awful mattresses where you could feel every spring, and the sheets had holes. Bathrooms were dirty, one smelled like a filthy toilet brush, and the showers had mold and broken stalls. You could hear anyone in the open kitchen or hallway through the thin doors. Cables were sticking out of the ceiling, too. The ground-floor Chinese takeaway handles reception, which was okay, nothing special. The whole place felt neglected and uncared for, like they just wanted your money. Definitely not recommended, and the bed wasn't comfortable at all.

The host was nice, check-in and check-out were easy, and there was a big kitchen with a dining area. We had a large group, though, and the rooms were incredibly cramped. The bathrooms weren't very hygienic, and shower water wouldn't drain properly. The city connection is good, but the drive takes 30-40 minutes. I'm from Berlin, and even though this was the cheapest place we found that weekend, I didn't think the price matched what we got.

The price they charge is absurd. The place was filthy, broken, and so badly patched together that nothing worked properly. When you walked in, you got hit by a smell of chlorine. Fifteen Romanians were staying there and were incredibly loud, and they had taken over all the refrigerators, which smelled awful. It was truly horrible. This place should be torn down, and honestly, they ought to pay you to sleep there.
