Hotel Condor

We paid €300 for three nights, and breakfast turned out not to be included. The room was tiny and in very poor condition, with an old renovation, and mice running around. There was even someone’s used personal hygiene product in the shower corner. This place is a dump and doesn’t feel fit for people to stay in. I strongly recommend against it.

My room was dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned. Outside the hotel there were drug users, and the police were there repeatedly; there was still drug assistance happening out front on the day I left. I blame myself for trying to save €20, but this was the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. It should be a two-star place.

The photos give a somewhat misleading impression, though the price is quite affordable for the location and the value is generally good. I’d recommend it for a night if, like us, you’re more interested in exploring the city than spending time at the hotel. The shower curtains should be replaced.

We were at the back of the hotel, so our room was very quiet. It was also very small, though that wasn’t unexpected. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was hearty. There’s no air conditioning, but they do provide a fan. With the central train and bus stations and other amenities nearby, it’s a great location.
