HYPERION Hotel Hamburg

We’ve stayed here before and might come back. The only inconvenience was that the restaurant wasn’t open, so we had to find somewhere for dinner. That led us to a wonderful place around the corner, "Werft". Breakfast had plenty of choices and what you need for a healthy start. The breakfast staff and reception team were kind and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. Our room was clean and nice, with what we needed for the visit. Parking was convenient in this busy area, though getting there was confusing, especially with all the construction nearby.

It was surprisingly quiet inside, even though the hotel sits between busy roads. The hotel itself is modern and nice. When we visited, the restaurant was closed, but the breakfast room was good and had plenty of coffee machines. A special thanks to Claas for useful advice when we arrived. Several other staff members spoke good English too.

The staff were really helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The rooftop bar was great too, with nice cocktails right there at the hotel.

Our room was extremely noisy. Guests next door played loud TV and partied until 5.30am, so I had to call reception twice, at 1.30 and 3.30am. The music was so loud they couldn’t hear staff knocking, and reception had to enter using a key card. We were a family of 6, but despite the connecting room, we weren’t given rooms next to each other. After just 4 hours of sleep, I checked out at 10am and reception didn’t seem bothered by what I said.
